Tiny TSM - 2 Year Olds
We have the unique privilege of being able to accept 2 year olds at TSM and some families may be eligible for certain free early education hours. Please look at our admissions page for more details or to arrange a tour.
Each child is assigned a Key Person. Our children are encouraged to make their own choices throughout the day and take part in adult led activities. The room is set up in a way that aims for children’s development to take place through their natural curiosity.
As with all the age groups of children at TSM, we observe and plan for children individually, ensuring that each child has the opportunity to learn and develop a broad range of skills through play and discovery, based on their interests and level of development.
At Tiny TSM, there are lots of opportunities for discovery and adventure:
• Listening to stories, exploring books, joining in with singing, music and movement sessions
• Role play activities – pretending to be a firefighter, mummy or daddy, builder or princess!
• Construction activities with open ended resources to encourage imaginative and create building.
• And much more!
If you have any further questions please don't hesitate to contact Mrs Coote (Early Years Lead)
We use Tapestry to keep our parents connected to their children in EYFS. Tapestry is a good way to gain insight to what we do in a school day. We will provide regular online updates from us but you can join in and upload photos and videos from home; this might be the moments when you see that your child is making progress with counting or phonics, it might be them telling a story or a record of a day trip or adventure.
This video runs through how as a parent or relative on Tapestry you can add your own observations of your children.
