SPORTING YEAR
It has an exciting sporting year for TSM. We have seen vast improvements across all areas, advancement in competitions and success on the filed. Over 90% of Year 5 and Year 6 children have represented the school and the majority have been part of a club. We have had a TSM active week and another staff vrs student netball match. It has been great to have Chelsea FC help with our PE sessions this year, as well as Chance to Shine Cricket Foundation.
We hope to inspire and encourage our children to be as active as possible, coupled with healthy eating. We are proud of all of our students as we hope they are.
WORLD BOOK DAY
EXTREME READING
At TSM we are extreme readers who like to read everywhere and anywhere! Look at the photos of us reading in crazy places!!
Recently the children's television programme 'CITV's Scrambled' visited TSM to record some footage for the up and coming season. They wanted to capture the talent of TSM. The children performed all types of skills and special abilities, which included singing solos, dancing duets and cool keepy uppy skills! To name a few. The children's performances will be aired on Saturday mornings with in the next six months, so keep your eyes peeled for our TSM superstars.

CHOCOLATE TRADING GAMES
Trinity St Mary’s had been nominated by Place2Be, to take part in Russell Investment’s annual Chocolate Trading Games. Russell Investment Group were looking for 15 budding traders to take part in this wonderful event at their very prestigious head office in Regents Street.
One very sunny Friday in July, a group of Year 5 & 6 children had the opportunity to work with professional associates of Russell Investments, who kindly gave up their time to mentor the children in teams throughout the game, to buy and sell chocolate with the "International Chocolate Exchange". They needed to decide whether current global issues (presented to us by a live reporter) made the price of chocolate go up or down and then make decisions about whether to buy or sell more chocolate based on the latest news. The object of the game was to end up with the most chocolate - (and yes.... we were all allowed to eat our winnings!)
After this very thrilling, fast paced game, (that took place in their ultra luxurious main boardroom), we had the privilege of meeting the CEO of Russell Investments himself, Pascal Duval, who gave a truly charming and inspiring talk about his own journey through his business career. We were then lucky enough to be treated to a full tour of their offices, a delicious lunch, and if that wasn't already enough, we were each spoilt be an amazingly generous goodie bag and a trip to the Bank of England Museum.
It was an absolutely fantastic day, one that ourselves and the children will surely remember for years to come.
On behalf of us all, we would like to extend our gratitude and thanks to everyone at Russell Investments and Place2Be, who help facilitated such a truly awesome day!
