Kindness, Unity & Courage

As part of Trinity St Mary's collaboration with Emanuel School, our Year 6 pupils enjoy a unique opportunity to participate in Emanuel School's Primary Ambitions programme every Friday afternoon. Engaging in a variety of enriching activities, such as music technology, clay making, and biodiversity exploration, our pupils benefit from access to a diverse range of resources and state-of-the-art facilities.

During these sessions, our Year 6 pupils have the chance to explore science laboratories equipped with tools like Bunsen burners and microscopes. Additionally, they've utilised the biodiversity garden and art studios, broadening their exposure to different learning environments. Facilitated by a team of sixth form students and teachers, these hour-long sessions not only enhance our curriculum but also contribute to the development of our pupils' confidence and communication skills.

At TSM we are excited to be working with King’s School in Chester, who have very kindly loaned us specific science equipment in order that the teachers can facilitate practical science experiments, enabling the children to gain first hand skills and understanding. Although we do have science resources at TSM, these extra resources have meant that the children at our school can take part in additional experiments that they may not have been able to previously. We would like to thanks King’s School and look forward to continuing to develop this working relationship to enhance our children’s education and life skills at TSM.
