Friends of Trinity St Mary's

Welcome to the Friends of Trinity St Mary’s CE Primary School.
We were set up with the specific purpose to raise funding for the redevelopment of the upper school playground in 2022

The new design was put together with the help of Mr Deeley, Miss Shackell and the School Council and involved resurfacing the playground, installing a multi-sport ‘cage’ and building outdoor classroom seating. We were able to raise £30,000 so the preliminary work was carried out over the summer holidays. The renovations will not only improve the facilities and education of current and future pupils of TSM, it will also allow the school to partner with more clubs and associations to offer after-school, weekend and holiday sports clubs – benefitting the school and the wider community.

We have registered with the Charity Commission (charity number 1194469) so that we can apply for grants and register with JustGiving. The Wandsworth Grant Fund gave us  £8,000 to go towards the multi-sports cage and the MUGA pitch is now part of the school playground and is loved by all the children. We are constantly looking to improve things at the school. Our next project is setting up a Forest School.

How you can help:

1) Add “Friends of Trinity St Mary’s CE Primary School” and shop through easyfundraising.com when possible (partners include Boots, Argos, M&S and John Lewis) so that a donation goes directly to charity at no cost to yourself.

3) Join the charity as a trustee or committee member to help us apply for more grants and come up with more fundraising ideas. Current Trustees are Esther Thomas, Hayley Van Den Bergh, Mella Drewienkiewicz and Scott Parratt – contact melladz@yahoo.com and we will let you know when the next meeting is.

Many thanks,
