As a Church of England school within the Southwark Diocesan Board of Education, we believe RE is much more than an academic subject. Children explore religion and belief through three key areas:
Through engaging lessons, discussion, storytelling, reflection and cross-curricular learning opportunities, children develop confidence in expressing their thoughts while learning to appreciate and celebrate the beliefs and experiences of others.
RE at TSM helps children become thoughtful, compassionate and reflective individuals who understand the importance of kindness, respect and community within modern Britain and the wider world.
Our Christian vision and values of Kindness, Unity and Courage are woven throughout school life and support children in developing spiritually, morally, socially and culturally as they flourish within our caring and inclusive school community.
