  • Reception Admissions

The Board of Governors, who are responsible for admissions to Trinity St Mary’s Primary School (TSM), admit 30 children into Reception each September.

Applications for Reception places for September 2026 (for children born between 1 September 2021 and 31 August 2022) will close on Thursday 15th January 2026. If your child is due to start school in September 2026, please ensure that you submit your application by the deadline to secure the best chance of being offered a place.

Prospective parents should contact the school office on 0208 673 4166 and speak to Debbie Bennett or email admissions@tsm.wandsworth.sch.uk, to obtain further information about our school or if they would like support with application procedures in order to make an application for a place at TSM. If you are interested in applying to TSM for a Reception place and would like to gain a place under the criteria of faith, please complete the Religious Affiliation Form and return it directly to the school. Additional information can be also sent to the school, by completing the application form. Both forms can be found below.

You should apply for your primary school place to the borough in which you live, even if you are applying for schools that are not in that borough

    Appeals Timeline

At TSM parents / carers, who are not offered a place for their child, have the right to appeal to an independent appeals panel. Parents wishing to appeal should obtain an appeal form from the school and send it to reach the Clerk to the Appeal panel, c/o: John.Winnifrith@richmondandwandsworth.gov.uk,  within 21 school days of the date of the letter confirming the governors’ decision not to offer a place.

The school will ensure that those making an appeal receive at least 10 school days’ notice of their appeal hearing and ensure that any decision letters are sent within 5 school days of the hearing wherever feasible.

Should some appeals be unsuccessful, the governing body will not consider further applications from those parents within the same academic year unless there have been significant and material changes in their circumstances.
