At Trinity St Mary’s, our Governing Body plays an important role in supporting the school to provide the very best education and care for every child. Working closely with school leaders, staff, parents and the wider community, our Governors help ensure that our Christian vision and values remain at the heart of everything we do.
Guided by our vision of “Nurturing minds, Filling hearts, Flourishing together,” our Governors are committed to helping every child feel safe, valued and inspired to achieve their full potential. Safeguarding, wellbeing and high-quality education are central to all aspects of their work.
Our governors work collaboratively with school leaders to support:
Their dedication helps ensure Trinity St Mary’s remains a school where children flourish academically, socially and spiritually.
The Board of Governors is made up of a wide range of experienced and committed individuals who bring valuable skills and perspectives to the school community. Governors include representatives from the church, parents, staff, the local authority and the Diocese.
This broad range of experience allows the Governing Body to support and challenge the school effectively while always keeping the best interests of the children at the centre of decision-making.

Together, the school and Governing Body work towards this by:
We value the important partnership between school and home and encourage parents and carers to engage with the work of the Governing Body. Governors regularly visit the school, attend events and work closely with staff to understand and celebrate school life.
