Nurturing minds, Filling Hearts, Flourishing together

At Trinity St Mary’s CofE Primary School, we are committed to ensuring that every child is supported, encouraged and inspired to flourish, regardless of their background or circumstances.

The Pupil Premium Grant (PPG) is additional government funding provided to schools to help improve outcomes, opportunities and wellbeing for pupils who may face additional barriers to learning. This funding enables schools to provide targeted academic support, pastoral care, enrichment opportunities and wider experiences that help children thrive both personally and academically.

At TSM, we use our Pupil Premium funding carefully to ensure that all children are able to access a broad, enriching and high-quality education within a nurturing and inclusive environment. Support may include:

    • targeted teaching and intervention,
    • emotional wellbeing and pastoral support,
    • enrichment opportunities and educational visits,
    • access to clubs and wider curriculum experiences,
    • and strategies to improve confidence, attendance and achievement.

We believe every child deserves the opportunity to succeed, feel valued and develop confidence in their own potential.

Families may be eligible for Pupil Premium funding through Free School Meal (FSM) registration, even if children choose not to take school meals. Registering can make a significant difference by helping the school provide additional support, resources and opportunities for pupils across the school community.

Additional funding may also be available for children who are looked after or previously looked after, or for pupils from service families.
