At Trinity St Mary’s CofE Primary School, we believe children flourish best when they feel happy, safe, valued and supported. Children’s emotional wellbeing is at the heart of everything we do and underpins our vision of Nurturing Minds, Filling Hearts, Flourishing Together.
We are committed to creating a caring, inclusive and nurturing environment where every child feels known, listened to and encouraged to develop confidence, resilience and positive relationships.
Our dedicated Emotional, Wellbeing and Communication Practitioner works closely with children, families and staff to provide additional emotional support, nurture and guidance where needed. Through targeted support, pastoral care and strong relationships, we help children develop the emotional skills they need to thrive both in school and beyond.
We recognise the important connection between wellbeing, learning and the world around us. Outdoor learning plays a valuable role in supporting children’s emotional health, confidence and curiosity. Through opportunities to learn and explore outdoors, children are encouraged to develop independence, teamwork, creativity and a sense of awe and wonder in the natural world.
At TSM, wellbeing is woven throughout school life through:
We are proud to work in partnership with families to ensure every child feels supported, empowered and able to flourish academically, emotionally and spiritually.
