RE Quality Mark- Silver Award

At Trinity St Mary’s, Religious Education is at the heart of our school community and plays an important role in helping children develop curiosity, understanding, compassion and respect for others. We are incredibly proud to have been awarded the Religious Education Quality Mark Silver Award, recognising the high-quality teaching, creativity and care that takes place within RE across our school.

This award celebrates our commitment to providing engaging and meaningful Religious Education that supports children academically, spiritually and personally. Through RE, pupils are encouraged to explore their own beliefs and values while learning about the faiths, traditions and experiences of others in an open and respectful environment.

Inspiring Children to Think Deeply

At Trinity St Mary’s, RE lessons encourage children to ask questions, reflect deeply and explore what matters most in life. Through exciting discussions, creative activities and real-life experiences, children develop confidence in expressing their ideas while learning to value different perspectives.

Our pupils enjoy a wide range of enriching opportunities, including:

  • Visiting our local church and learning about Christian worship
  • Exploring artefacts and religious symbols
  • Listening to stories from different faiths and cultures
  • Creative activities such as making clay diva lamps
  • Research projects using technology, including iPads
  • Sharing and celebrating their own faiths and experiences with others

Children particularly enjoy the creative and interactive nature of RE lessons and the opportunities to demonstrate kindness, empathy and understanding.
