Faith Council

Nurturing Minds, Filling Hearts, Flourishing Together

At Trinity St Mary’s CofE Primary School, our Faith Council plays a valuable role in supporting and strengthening the Christian life of our school community and our close partnership with St Mary’s Church, Balham.

The Faith Council provides children with opportunities to develop leadership, reflect on our Christian values and help shape collective worship and spiritual life across the school. Members work closely with staff and the church community to support worship, prayer, reflection and special events throughout the year.

Through links with St Mary’s Church, children are encouraged to deepen their understanding of faith, compassion, service and community. The Faith Council helps to promote our values of Kindness, Unity and Courage while encouraging children to become thoughtful, respectful and courageous advocates who can make a positive difference in the world around them.

Members of the Faith Council also support charitable initiatives, reflection opportunities and acts of service within both the school and wider community, helping all children understand the importance of care, inclusion and belonging.

At TSM, we believe every child can flourish spiritually, emotionally and socially within our nurturing Christian community.
